Empowering Local Communities Together
Your involvement determines what happens in your community.

This is our legacy, this is our history, this is why we will succeed.
Most of the communities listed above had a functioning economic system. Most of the goods and services available in the community were owned by people who lived in the community. Their money bounced several times within the community.
As Community Builders we must hold ourselves accountable to a standard of behavior that allows trust, unity and peace to exist for generations to come.
As Community Builders we must agree that whatever we need to survive we must own, control, influence or produce ourselves.
The transformation of your neighborhood into a community starts with this question. Do you value where you live? Most of us take care of what we value. You must accept the fact that the house you live in, the street you live on and the neighborhood you reside in is valuable to you.
You must take care of what is valuable to you.
Action: Your property is valuable, clean it up and keep it clean.
Because we have similar values, we should be able to trust our neighbors.
ACTION: Talk to your neighbors, share your views about your community. "If you keep an eye on my property, and I will keep an eye on yours".
Work together to influence or control various institutions, organizations, goods and services in the neighborhood.
ACTION:
Start a food cooperative to control your food.
Organize a homeowners association.
Make sure the community has the proper healthcare services.
Open a local drug store.
Be strategic about what businesses you want in your community.
Teach and implement clean water management.
Support the schools in your neighborhood.
Create home and community gardens.
Now we are members of a community

There is no culture in the history of human kind that has risen to maximize their full human potential without family at the center of that culture.
“Marriage in our culture has fallen from 85% to 34%. Wealth, stability, and community are eroding because of it. No culture in history has maximized its potential without the family at its center.”
Dr. George C. Fraser, Author, Speaker and Activist
The goal is 70%. 70% of black children should be raised by a father and mother. It may take a generation, but it is possible. As a people we have come through so much, we will be successful.
2023 data
Ethnicity/Race Income
Asian household 1112,800
White non-Hispanic household 89.050
Hispanic any race household 65,540
Black household 56,490
1. Institutions and organizations must promote the Biblical and practical importance of marriage.
2. Implement manhood development programs at a level where over 70% of at-risk young man are affected, resulting in a noticeable increase in two parent families.
Manhood Development Programs
Programs that develop black boys into men have been in existence for years. So why hasn't there been an increase in the marriage rate and a decrease in poverty and crime. Do the programs work? YES.
The problem is CRITICAL MASS. A program that reaches critical mass engages enough youth such that over time there is real statistical change.
EXAMPLE
Where are most of the males between the ages of 11 -18?
In school. Select a high school and the feeder middle schools for that high school in a neighbor. Count the number of black males? example 1,000 black males. What is the poverty rate? Let's say it is 70 percent, that is 700 youths living in poverty.
Let's say the goal is to reduce the percentage of black males living in poverty by 10 percent. The Manhood Development Program in your community should be prepared to engage at least 10 percent of the boys living in poverty, that is at least 70 youths. The program will have to track the youth over a period of 6 or 7 years to identify any statistical change.
We can doit! Community Builders can turn this goal into an actual reality.
The Children there are smiling because they know they have a bright future because families, schools and communities have organized to make sure that they live up to their full potential.

Harlem School Zone
When it comes to education, it is not about knowing what to do it is having the will to do what is needed to provide our children with the education they deserve. This is where The Harlem School Zone has succeeded. They have successfully created an environment where children can realize their full potential. We will use the Harlem School Zone as a model.
We all must get involved:
Brazelton - Touchpoints is an evidence-based theory of child development developed by Dr. T. Berry Brazelton, focusing on the critical periods of a child's life where significant development changes occur.
Community Builders will reach out to expecting families to enroll in Touchpoint and provide tools and information in preparation for the ins and outs of early childhood development.

AI Overview
Medical racism refers to the systematic way in which racism impacts health and healthcare delivery, leading to disparities in access, treatment, and outcomes for people of color. It encompasses historical and ongoing unethical practices, discriminatory attitudes by healthcare workers, implicit biases in medical decisions, and structural inequities embedded in policies, such as unequal access to health insurance and underfunded healthcare facilities. These factors combine to create a system where racial and ethnic minorities are marginalized and receive poorer quality care.

The Thirteenth Amendment (Amendment XIII) to the United States Constitution abolished slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime. The amendment was passed by the Senate on April 8, 1864, by the House of Representatives on January 31, 1865, and ratified by the required 27 of the then 36 states on December 6, 1865, and proclaimed on December 18, 1865. It was the first of the three Reconstruction Amendments adopted following the American Civil War.
